How it works

ReplayBureau lets you trade historical market data as if it were unfolding now, using a simulated account. No real-money trades are executed through the platform.

1. Create a free account

Registration is free and you confirm your email address before logging in. The Basic plan costs nothing; Essential and Plus are paid plans.

2. Start a session

  • Choose an instrument and a start date and time within your plan’s historical data window.
  • Set the starting equity of the simulated account (default $100,000, minimum $5,000) and the spread.
  • On the Plus plan you can start the session as a prop firm challenge with your own rules.
  • Each session has its own fresh account. The number of sessions you can have at a time depends on your plan.

3. Replay the market

  • Only candles up to the current replay point are visible, so later price action is not shown in advance.
  • Play, pause or step forward, change the playback speed and switch between the 10 timeframes (1m to 1D).
  • Use “Go to” to jump forward to a date (Essential and Plus) or to the next New York, London or Asia open (Plus).

4. Place simulated trades

  • Open positions with market, limit or stop orders, with stop loss and take profit.
  • Partial profits and breakeven are available on Essential and Plus.
  • Balances, profits and losses are simulated values with no cash value.

5. Journal and review

  • Add notes and tags to each trade in the trading journal.
  • Review statistics for the session. Basic shows win rate and long/short split; Essential and Plus add all statistics, an equity curve and a daily profit and loss calendar.

Live paper trading

Separately from historical replay, live paper trading lets you practise on live market prices with a simulated account. It is included in every plan.

ReplayBureau is a simulation and analysis tool, not a broker. Simulated balances, profits and losses are not real money, and backtesting or paper-trading results do not guarantee future performance.
