Prop firm challenge practice
Prop firm challenge practice lets you run a replay session under rules you define, so you can practise working toward a profit target within drawdown limits. It is available on the Plus plan.
Rules you set
When starting a challenge session you choose four rules. The default values are shown in brackets.
- Maximum drawdown, as a percentage of starting equity (10%).
- Profit target, as a percentage of starting equity (8%).
- Consistency limit: your best day’s profit may not exceed this share of your net profit (30%).
- Minimum trading days, counted as distinct UTC days on which positions were opened (5).
Optional settings
- Trailing maximum drawdown, either intraday (the loss floor rises as soon as equity makes a new high) or end of day (the floor rises only after a UTC day closes). The floor is capped at the initial balance.
- Overnight positions allowed or prohibited. When prohibited, open positions close at the first candle after UTC midnight.
Passing and failing
- The challenge is passed when all four requirements are met together, while you have no open positions and no pending orders.
- Drawdown is checked against equity at replay candle closes. Reaching the loss floor fails the challenge.
- A passed or failed result is final for that session.
Progress tracking
A status bar shows your profit against the target and the current drawdown floor, and a details panel shows consistency, drawdown room left, trading days and the overnight rule.
What this is not
Challenge practice is a simulation using rules you choose. It is not an evaluation by any prop firm, and ReplayBureau does not provide funded accounts or pay out simulated profits.
ReplayBureau is a simulation and analysis tool, not a broker. Simulated balances, profits and losses are not real money, and backtesting or paper-trading results do not guarantee future performance.
