Practice Forex Trading With Candle-by-Candle Replay.
Test discretionary forex decisions on historical candles. Choose a supported pair, practise simulated order management and review your trade notes without coding.

Build your first manual backtest · Compare all plan limits
Start with a pair you can study consistently
Basic supports EURUSD, GBPJPY and GBPUSD, alongside gold and ES/NQ. Essential adds all supported forex pairs; Plus adds the complete instrument catalogue. The Markets and data page lists the available instruments.
For an initial test, keep the pair, timeframe and entry definition fixed. Record when a setup is absent as well as when it appears. Repeatedly switching pairs to find a trade can change the question you are testing.
Build a repeatable forex replay exercise
Choose a historical date within your plan window. Describe an observable setup, its invalidation point and an exit rule before advancing the chart. Reveal the next candle, decide whether your conditions are present and take a simulated trade only when they are.
ReplayBureau supports market and pending orders, stop loss and take profit. Essential and Plus also support partial profits and breakeven. Record which tools your test uses so later comparisons reflect the same management rules.
Use notes to distinguish the rule from the decision
The journal combines trade facts with your own notes and tags. Note whether an entry met the rule, whether you moved the stop and why you exited. A winning result can still involve a broken rule; a losing result can follow the plan.
Basic allows three journaled trades. Essential and Plus allow unlimited journaling and include the equity curve, P&L calendar and all statistics. Widen the sample without treating a small number of outcomes as proof.
Is this automated forex backtesting?
No. You reveal candles and place simulated orders manually. There is no automated strategy engine or requirement to write code. This workflow helps you inspect discretionary choices rather than run a program over an entire history at once.
What are the data limits?
Basic: one active session and up to one year of history. Essential: three sessions and up to six years. Plus: unlimited sessions and history back to 2006, subject to instrument availability. Live paper trading is included on all plans, but remains simulated.
ReplayBureau is a simulation and analysis tool, not a broker. Simulated balances, profits and losses are not real money, and backtesting or paper-trading results do not guarantee future performance.
